October/November 2013 Superbly well equipped Cottage. The best area we have visited in Scotland. We particulary liked the roads to Tayvallich + Kilmory (the Chapel and beach there are well worth a visit). We also enjoyed a day watching Dolphins on Gigha Island. The Museum Tearoom at Kimartin is a must. Crinan Basin is a gem & if you are feeling energetic , do the Crinan Wood walk. Rained every day, gale force winds but still really enjoyable. All the local marinas are good if you like boats & don’t miss the Clyde ‘Puffer’ at Crinan. The Puffer cookbook is very good too. Chris, Margaret & Tristan - Wiltshire

September 2013 Enjoyed the Cottage, bikes & watching the boats go by. Lovely food at Cairnbaan Hotel & Tavvallich. Great boat trip to Corryvreckan. Visited Tarbert, Kilmartin & lots or other places. Took some great photos of night sky. Really clear Milky Way. Stephen, Karen, Ryan, Joyce & Hovis (Dog) – Cousland, Midlothian. |
